Pink Picnic

I have been wanting to make this for myself for a long time. I love the fabric. I had a DUH moment because this is the 2nd wristlet I had to make. The first, I put the fabric upside down so that all the flowers were turned the wrong way. I didn't even notice until I was putting on the button. Distracted??? Anyway, I can't wait to use it.. ..I need to post a pic of the fabric up close. These pics don't do it justice. It really is cute.

Kitty skirt

I found this fabric on clearance for $1.50/yd. I bought 2 yards but wish I had bought more. I think it is so cute. I have so many ideas for it but have already used up 1 yard. I made 2 kitty skirts for Hannah and Elle and I have a wallet cut out. Also, look at my new corner...Usually when I needed to sew I had to lug it all out onto the kitchen table and put it back away when we needed to eat. If I just wanted to sew for 1/2 hour I wouldn't even bother because it was such an ordeal. Soooooo, my husband bought me this cute IKEA table. I can't believe how cheap it was and why I never did it earlier. But now, I have my own corner in the bedroom. Sewing and the bike....:)

Skull Wristlet

I made this skull wristlet for Caroline. She just had a baby girl, so I had to make a bid out of the fabric that was left. I'm getting tired of wristlets and am hoping to move on to some skirts for Hannah....soon:)

wristlet for Hailee

I made a writlet for my niece with a wallet out of the purple people eater fabric. I of course had to put on an Edward key chain..:)

I made a mini wallet out of the same fabric as my big purse. I'm loving this fabric. I am calling it "purple people eater"...Yes, I am geek if you didn't already know...:)

I've needed a new kid bag. I don't like big bags but what can I do when I still need diapers, snacks, wallet and drinks tugged around. I was getting tired of the other one. I love the fabric on the outside. I put a pocket on the side for my phone and a pocket inside for keys and itouch.

Lisa's wristlet and pretzels

I usually only put sewing pics on here but these pretzels were so pretty. I made them for my daughters fall festival. I tried not to eat too many.

Here is Lisa's custom wristlet. She liked the 2 bubble gum fabrics together with an opposite color mini wallet. I can't seem to get off these wristlet's. I am working on a dress and a baby doll shirt for Hannah but keep putting it aside to work on the wristlet's...

Wristlet for Dcota

I just finished this one for a friend. I also made a little mini wallet with the same spiders to go inside. I went with the fancy flashy button. What do you think, is the button too much?

Wristlet #2

I made two designs. One with elastic and button and the other closes with velcro.

I made the wrist band part very thick, whick I like a lot better and used a better quality latch. There is a zipper to close the pouch. I think I like the elastic closure on the front better. The velcro looks cheap. What do you think? Do you think it needs a pocket inside? Also, what do you think about a small change zipper purse to come with it?

Wrislet under construction

I made a wrislet out of the bubble gum fabric. This is my first try and I am unhappy about a few things. I thought I would like the snap but I don't. It makes it too difficult to close, especially when the wrislet has uneven stuff in it. I like the big button but want to hide where I sewed it on. I am thinking velcro to close. It is easy and will hide the button back. I also want the wrist band to be thicker. It needed to be lined. I do like the size and the pouch and the zipper to close. I also like the shape of the flap. Ok....off to make a new one....:)

i'm loving this fabric for the mini wallet. But, I do tend to be a little grandma-ish.
